I think they can be. However, I think finding the right point guard is also very, very important. You need someone that will feed those three players the ball. Wroten and Marshall will try to prove that they are that guy this season.

They had conversations. But they didn't go hard after them. Often times, agents put stuff out there for other teams to read.

Have you ever talked to the agents of future/past draft picks and gotten a vibe as to whether they would actually like for their players to be selected by the Sixers?

Yes, I have. I would say at this moment a lot of agents - if truthful - will tell you they don't want their clients coming here right now unless he's a fringe NBA player with no options

Three-point shooting. He looked good in the Utah Summer League, making wide open threes. They already know that he's a solid rebounder.

How concerned are the Sixers about Embiid's work ethic? It sounds like it changed for the better after your article came out. Did it improve significantly once he was able to do real basketball-related activities?

I don't think they are concerned as they were before the article came out. Plus, he knows that there's a chance that he may never play - or at play at a high level- again. So I'm expecting him to do whatever he asked and work hard.

Any idea what Ilgauskas had to say to Embiid when he visited him? Was that a meeting initiated by Sixers management?

I believe it was. He just shared his experience with the same injury, how he was able to overcome it and the frustration he had to deal with

I was watching NBA basketball and there were talking about how they hate the word tanking and 76ers are the poster child. Do you think the culture of tanking within the organization is something the 76ers can over come with the current coach and GM?

The Warriors and Thunder were able to overcome it. So yes the Sixers will be able to do the same.

I would say they are currently. I haven't seen all of the figure yet just because they still have to sign people. However, it will be better than the previous two seasons.

HI Keith, it seemed like Ish Smith had a great rapport with Nerlens Noel on the court, meanwhile Isaiah Canaan was a deep threat that struggled to get his own shot. What are your thoughts on keeping one and jettisoning the other?

I really don't have an opinion on that. I just think the Sixers and Smith did not agree on a contract deal, while Canaan is still under contract.

They can refuse all they want. But the Sixers are still going to draft them.

I think we will a lot of the same on the offensive end. They will attempt a lot of threes and run the pick-and-roll with the bigs. Defensively, I will be a wait and see.
