Good question. I'd say all of the above. The fist interception on Sunday was a bad pass. Simple as that. Bad pass in a bad spot at a bad time. Second interception, Bradford said the defender made a play on the ball. Although you can argue it was too tight of a window to try to place the ball, too.

I saw progress, although you can argue progress was him simply being on the field. He got to Drew Brees on the INT, helping force the throw. They NEED Smith to provide pass rush help, because there are no other reserve OLBs who can do it. He has some tools, but he hasn't shown them yet.

Nelson Agholor is hopeful he can play, but it's still so early in the week. Kendricks could be iffy -- he set himself with the hamstring, but they still have a full week of practice ahead. I don't think he forces it, but it would help them if he can get out there.

Chip was criticized for saying that we needed to 'execute' almost ad nauseum, and there were lots of people saying that was him being stubborn and not being the impetus on him. after seeing a battered offensive line put together their best game of the year, was he right about it being execution? or did you see enough changes in play calling/scheme to suggest that chip finally made the adjustments needed?
-
I think "execution" was misinterpreted as him passing the blame to the players. I didn't view it as that. It's a combination of the play-calling and the plays. The question I had is whether it was talent. The offensive line is not talented in certain areas. If they can play the way they did Sunday, you can make the argument the first 4 games were just execution problems. If the problems are personnel, this is a much bigger issue.

It's been too many drops. I don't have an answer. They don't have an answer. These players work on fundamentals. They need to do under the lights. But no question it's been an issue. It's just not a question I have an answer to give, because Chip/the players can't tell you why they keep happening.

Pass rush is a concern with me
Why is barwin and Graham not doing that the year
We need to see more blitzes from dbs
Jenkins is quick in stopping rbs on short yard situation..like to see him used in blitz packages especially on third n longs
Manning will pick us apart if he is allowed to sit back there -

Is murray hurt? This seems to be an ongoing conversation, but Mathews looked much better out there again. He is running harder, and has better vision. Murray ran out of bounds when he could have fought for more yards, there were other situations he went to the ground instead of fighting as well
