As he develops, sure. But not over Clement and Smallwood at this point.
Depends on compensatory selections.
I think it's more what you said there -- live to see another down if the pass gets off, try to avoid the big play. (Which has been a problem this season.)
A chance on Jernigan. Don't think McLeod comes back.
Nope, I don't think so. Sullivan knows the defense, he just doesn't have much experience -- and he isn't the same talent as Douglas. I think if they acquired someone now, they'd find a specific role for him.
I agree, I've been saying this all along. I don't think the Eagles add significant cap obligation beyond this season unless he's a core player going forward (like Amari Cooper). It would be a low-cost player, or a player whose contract isn't guaranteed next year.
Good, not great. Don't think he's a problem. Think he can play better -- although he made a game-changing play last week forcing the INT.
Nope, I think Matthews (and Wentz) know the reality of the situation. With that said, Matthews has played well. He's done his job.
It varies by game and situation. It was 53 yards against the Vikings.
As long as he shows potential, they'll give him the benefit of the doubt. I think he's on the roster the rest of the season.
I don't think Howie touches a Day 1 or Day 2 pick unless he's with the team beyond this season.
I don't think it's player for player -- my guess is pick for player. If Eagles traded from current roster, maybe Wisniewski? I don't see that happening, though.
Unless they add a WR, then yes. That kind of contract would seem reasonable. If they trade for someone like Amari Cooper, though? The conversation is different.
Carson Walch, he works with the wide receivers.
I don't know the details of that yet; I'll now more this week.
Nope. I think they wanted Seumalo in there. Why, that's a fair question. Draft pick, more potential, bigger, plays better with Peters?
I disagree. Schwartz's defense is very good. Keeps scoring down. Schwartz is one of the best defensive coordinators in the league.
Opposite knee. Perhaps they go that route. My guess is Ajayi tries getting paid.
I think he's having a good season. Very good? I think he can play better. And I think he will.
Way too early. My guess is they'll look o-line/d-line.
I'll try to find out tomorrow.
Douglas is with the Eagles. He gets to a college game when he cans. And I disagree -- this is far from a subpar roster. The team they played on Thursday? That's a subpar roster.
I criticize the coaches and front offices when it's warranted. I just don't do it emotionally, I try to do it rationally. And I think Rams and Saints are superior right now. I picked the Saints to win the Super Bowl. I stand by that, although the Rams are a tough out.
I'd be surprised if Roseman sacrifices a first-rounder at this point, unless it's a young, cost-controlled player.
Wouldn't rule it out. Think Howie will be active, especially in the days before the deadline.
Thank you for all the questions. Let's talk next week.
