Why do you and your colleagues keep saying that Kendricks won't start this season? First of all, he's the only healthy ILB on the roster right now, Second, he played great last season. I know everyone keeps talking about how Ryans got an extension, but lets be realistic, I don't think he got any new money, he was scheduled to make $6 million this season, and the Eagles simply gave him a one year extension and spread the $6 million over 2 years, rather than ask him to take a pay cut or cut him outright. Also, they can cut Ryans after this season if they want, so essentially, they did give him a pay cut. Maybe they want to trade Kendricks, but it's hard to trade someone for a 2nd round draft pick who's 2nd team on the depth chart!! I know some people want to talk about Kendricks missing 3 games last season, but Ryans missed over half the season! It makes a lot of business sense not to give Kendricks an extension right now, they probably want him to prove it one more season. Your thoughts?

I've never written he won't start this season, Marvin. I've written it's undetermined how playing time will be split. So I disagree with the premise of the question. ...As for Ryans' new deal, they lowered his cap number, but they also guaranteed him $6.5M. I think Kendricks and Alonso make a lot of sense as starters, but I also wonder what Ryans' role would be in that situation.
