Thank you for joining the weekly chat. Let's get right to it. Just a warning -- I might need to go early if practice ends soon.
Agree the offensive line has been serviceable, but the needs are beyond WR and CB. They need to address RB, potentially edge rusher, and defensive tackle if Bennie Logan leaves.
Chip Kelly did trade McCoy. Didn't agree with the trade then, don't agree with it now.
I appreciate that. Thank you to all of you, though. I appreciate the readership and interest.
I do agree that Wentz has had a good year. Showed a lot of promise. Hasn't been great and has made some poor decisions, but there's promise. ...I don't think he lacks arm strength. Just think he can be more mechanically sound.
No. 2. They should address WR in free agency. I don't think they need another young receiver.
I think they need a young cornerback early in the draft and a vet at WR they know can step in and play.
Peters, Seumalo, Kelce, Brooks, Johnson.
Both will be here during the summer. They'll need to play their way onto the 53. Matthews and DGB are back, in my opinion. Agholor could be a trade candidate.
It's expensive, but they can deal with it because of an inexpensive QB.
I don't think it's two high-priced free agent WRs. Pick one, then add him to Matthews, DGB, maybe Agholor.
Mathews. Maybe Barwin. I think Logan could walk.
I don't think Pryor hits free agency. If he did, I'd go after him.
Yes, and he should. One of best coaches in the NFL.
Not sure, I get hyperfocused on the Eagles. A lot of smoke around Rex Ryan, though.
I think he has a better chance of moving on in 2018 than 2017. I still think he starts at center next season. I suppose Seumalo can make a case, but I still think it's Kelce.
I think Peters stays. Barwin, I can see as a potential re-structure. Graham stays. Mathews is gone, I believe. Bradham back. Sproles back.
Yes -- Joe Douglas will be heavily involved. They've adopted his scouting philosophies.
Good point. Key is to draft and sign the right ones.
I like Jones and Humphrey.
A rookie and Jalen Mills.
I think this is about money and age. They can try to get that production for less expensive, younger options.
I think he changes arm angles some times, but it's something to explore.
Not so sure about that. He's a starter at OLB.
Disagree. That's not the way Rodney McLeod plays. I think he was trying be sound, and didn't play it correctly.
Thank you; you, too. If Alshon hits the market, he's the player I'd target. After him, Kenny Stills is a player I like.
I don't think it's going to happen, but it's question I'll ask at the end of the season.
