Thank you for joining the weekly chat. We're five practices into camp -- let's get right to it...
Maybe in addition to them if the Eagles keep nine. But I think Seumalo could be a trade chip, especially if the Eagles would be willing to move Wisniewski to center if something were to happen to Kelce.
I think it will eventually be Ngata, but Vaeao has a shot this summer to earn more playing time. I'll have more on the DT competition this week.
I've been impressed with him. It's still early, but he looks like he knows what he's doing out there. Preseason games will be important to see his physicality and how he performs on special teams.
Nelson Agholor or Corey Nelson? Eagles have two years with Nelson Agholor, so no urgency with that contract. But I do think he gets a second contract here.
My guess is ESPN Plus, but I'm not sure.
Not yet. Eagles are evaluating the young safeties right now and they'll decide soon if they need a veteran.
I think Mills eventually plays the slot. Bausby has been good -- I think he's definitely in the mix. But my guess is Jones, Darby, Mills all play in the nickel, and it's Mills who bounces inside to the slot.
I think Wheaton based on experience, if they keep six. Ward still has practice squad eligibility.
If I made a 53 now, I'd put Pumphrey on it. He does look better, and he's versatile. I still think they develop him for a Sproles-like role in 2019 if they can. Jones left practice early. Smallwood, what you've seen is what you're going to get. They have a decision to make with 4 or 5 RBs. Preseason performance will factor into it.
He looks like the athletic testing translates to the field. He can beat a slow OT around the edge. I think there's a lot of talent there. He jumps out to me.
Not at all. I put my best lineup on the field for every game until I have something clinched. Games are too precious. A comfortable record can be squandered.
Qualls is working with the second team. I'm curious to see what the Eagles do at DT. They can bounce a DE inside, but they don't have a lot of depth there. It all depends when Jernigan returns.
Because they might need him to play this season and they're a Super Bowl contender. I said in March I would have traded Foles. At this point, unless there's a sweetheart offer, I'd go into the season with him. But if someone offered a second or higher, I'd take it.
Goedert plays with the first-team offense in two 2TE sets, and then he also gets work with the 2s.
It's a good idea. I haven't heard that one. You'd need to pay the player like a 53-man roster spot, otherwise the NFLPA likely wouldn't go for it.
I've spoken to Dave Fipp about it. They're seeing what they have in Cameron Johnston and keeping an eye on the rest of the league.
I don't think bridges were burned, but I don't think Celek is coming back. Eagles drafted Goedert and Rodgers is a solid pro. I'd be surprised if Eagles added Celek. Jones is always an option if they wanted a veteran punter.
Depends if it's 4 or 5 RBs. Right now, I'd say 5 RBs and 5 WRs. But the answer could change.
Hollins. I think he'll have more of an offensive role.
