Thank you for joining the weekly chat. Eagles are 2-1, Carson Wentz is back, they go to Tennessee this weekend. Much to discuss, let’s get to your questions...
The sense I get is McLeod’s injury is not serious enough for them to need a replacement. If he was out for awhile, that would certainly be something to explore.
I don’t think the Eagles go down that path this season.
Sounds like both will be back this week. Pederson was optimistic yesterday.
I don't see the Bengals moving him. My guess is it would take a first-rounder, which I don't see the Eagles surrendering.
Good question. Still not able to return. Still rehabbing. Turned into be more serious than it might have seemed.
Combination of Wentz holding the ball, the offensive line, and WRs not getting open.
Not right now. Mills is a starting cornerback. An in-season switch wouldn't make sense.
Very much so. It hasn't been a strength this year. They miss Maragos and Hollins. Also, there are too many penalties.
I disagree on bad play-calling. I think Reid is a fantastic play-caller, and he's evolved. The Chiefs are going to be a factor this year. I'm a Mahomes believer.
The injury occurred in practice, so I don't think it was that. But coming off a major injury at his age, it's a possibility.
Not at the moment. Hasn't even at practice.
They have a good defense. They like to run the ball. So those are two areas to watch. Eagles excel at run defense and will try to make the Titans beat them through he air.
Nope. I still think they win 11 games this season.
Nope. I didn't dislike Chip Kelly. Wish he was more open and accessible with me, but I wouldn't wish him ill will at UCLA. And I think he's going to win there, too.
Looks that way. Subscribe to the Early Birds newsletter -- Philly.com/earlybirds. I mentioned that in the newsletter.
If you had Mahomes, Hill, Watkins, Kelce, wouldn't you be pass-happy, too?
They want to Kelly green for alternate uniforms, not for their base uniforms.
Probably the Cincinnati game in 2016, when Matthews was out and DGB, Agholor, Bryce Treggs, Paul Turner were the WRs.
