Welcome to the weekly chat. I just wrapped up with Carson Wentz’s press conference. Let’s get to your questions...
A decent amount. He'll be the punt returner and used on offense. They'll slow him back in, but I can see him playing the most snaps at RB. Eagles will still keep a committee approach.
I think it does factor into it. Players need to rest their bodies after a game, they have a routine. That's disrupted in a short week. It's not a determining factor, but it's a factor.
I'd rather have Amari Cooper as a player, but I'd rather Tate for a third-round pick than Cooper for a first-round pick.
So the price makes me lean toward Tate.
I took it as saying they need someone else to pick the players. And perhaps that's where Aikman feels he can help, but I don't know the answer to that one.
It's a tough game regardless. With that said, Dallas will be desperate. Eagles should be, too, though.
I think the latter -- they forced the Cowboys to try to beat them through the air. Plus, the Cowboys don't have the same offensive line to dominate the line of scrimmage.
Doug Pederson did not rule out getting the ball in Mailata's hands. So I won't say no, but I don't think they have immediate plans for it.
Not sure specifically, but I think Irvin going to his hometown and playing for Dan Quinn helped the Falcons.
They were at the facility Monday for meetings and a walk-through. He gave them off Tuesday because they're required to have one day off per week. They kept their normal routine this week.
I don't think he's the Dez of five years ago, but I think it'll be another tough, competitive player in that offense.
Depends who else is injured. It wouldn't surprise me.
Not at the moment. I'll find out more on Friday.
Good question. I think the Eagles will keep a committee approach in their backfield, but I can see Sproles getting the most snaps and Adams continue playing a bigger role. I don't think Smallwood will be the "lead guy."
I think that's a big way the Eagles will use Tate, and they'll use him like that more than Agholor. But the Eagles will still find ways to involve Agholor, especially emphasizing run-after-catch ability.
I don't believe he has practice squad eligibility. I like Abdullah, but Eagles have depth at RB.
He does. You've seen it before. And I think it can come out of the slot.
Had to run to practice-- thank you for all the questions.
