Saw him pre-surgery, not post-surgery.
Quadriceps. Still injury, although it has come up the past two weeks.
Mack Hollins and then either Wallace or R. Rodgers, unless someone else goes down and they need the roster spot.
I don't think it's easier. I just think Mills had a bigger role in the defense. But it might something they should evaluate.
Early on, it was missing players. Now, they just need to play better. They have proven players who need to play to their caliber.
More experience, a sure-handed receiver.
I think they had a long offseason and needed to put off some surgeries, so that is a tangible factor. I don't think they've lost their drive. But they're also a target for teams.
All depends on the offer and the market. I didn't think he'd sign back last time.
Not as good as last season. But it's a long season. I still trust him in those situations.
Still realistic, although I'd go 10-6 now.
They return to practice tomorrow, so we'll see then.
Not necessarily. He needs better protection. But I think what you saw from Wentz is what you'll get -- a high-level QB. Needs to cut down on turnovers, though.
If Sproles plays, I can see that happening.
Impressed by Jones. Has taken to the slot and think he'll be better on the outside. At the end of the year, he'll be the best cornerback on the team.
Then how do you explain the deep passes. If a team is going to dink-and-dunk, then tackle and make them go 15 plays to score. That's fine. Big plays are hurting the Eagles.
I think if they trusted him on defense, they'd play him on defense.
No updates. He's not even at practice watching them.
I did not. I thought he had a productive game, and I don't see him slowing down.
Not concerns, but I don't think they want their base defense to be two-tight end sets at this point. They like running out of 11 personnel.
Valid point. But Eagles won't object to forcing teams to throw short passes and getting them in third downs. What hurts the Eagles is when a 3-yd pass turns into a 13-yd gain.
They need to score more points on offense. Offense hasn't topped 23 points per game. Hard to win consistently like that. I think that's more of an issue than the defense.
You can make that argument, but Pederson is still calling the plays and Wentz is still the QB. Shouldn't be an excuse.
Alabama. That's obvious, though, right?
Thank you for all the questions. Talk to you next week.
