Perhaps, but right now, there are different versions.
Yes, I think Maddox will get a shot to compete for that job. They'll also see Mills in there. But don't sleep on Maddox.
What about the Falcons game and the Vikings game? Easy to look at the Super Bowl, but I don't think they were constantly being burned. I like that pairing. I think Sidney Jones gets more time. I don't think a UDFA beats out Darby or Mills. You shouldn't want that.
Giants offense will be tough next year. Cowboys will be better. Those two teams jump out at me.
To the UDFA question -- I need to see them when they get in here. But based on the depth chart, Jeremy Reaves.
To the Mailtata question -- it's a seventh-round gamble. You can't teach that size. But hard for me to say without ever having seen him on the field.
You need to differentiate the 53 from the 46. I wouldn't rule out a spot on the 53 as a player they stash. But I don't think he's on the gameday roster. If the Eagles think someone would poach him, it makes sense to keep him on the 53. There are players who are inactive all year, such as Will Beatty last year. (Until Week 17)
I'd say fair. It's hard to repeat. But they have the talent.
He needs to learn football first.
If they need a TV show to be motivated, that's a problem. Both players will be plenty motivated.
I didn't see it in person. Howie didn't invite me up. But I saw the video -- looked outstanding, the type of investment the team should make.
Haven't missed a regular-season game in six years covering the team. I don't plan on starting this year!
Slot cornerback competition, who's the third safety. And how Dallas Goedert looks.
He's not drafted for this year. This is for down-the-line. And it makes sense considered age/contract situation at the position.
Maybe, although he hasn't played there. But down the line, perhaps that's something they consider.
Nope, he has kick return experience. Eagles said they will try him there, but then they brought back Sproles.
Eagles will be fine in 2019. However, they might let players such as Ajayi and Darby walk.
Yes, I think so. Burton and Celek combined for 39 receptions. I think they can get to that number.
He wasn't at the combine, so I don't know the testing numbers. But that's a position where testing numbers matter.
Good question. I don't know if they have one yet. My guess is they play with six offensive linemen in those situations.
He has to play his way onto the roster. He'll need to beat Smallwood and Adams.
I don't think he's traded. He's their QB2 unless there's a can't-miss deal. I think Wentz starts Week 1, so I'd say less than 50-50 on Foles. Let's make it 25-75.
Pass catching. Not known as a blocker.
It depends on Geodert's development, but you'll see it a decent amount of time. I can't tell you know how often -- it's something they'll absolutely use.
He's the backup interior lineman. I think Wisniewski is the starting LG, unless there's an injury.
I haven't watching it yet. I liked it with the Cardinals and Rams. I get some time off between minicamp and training camp when I'll watch it. I need to admit. I haven't watched much TV of late.
Still recovering. Plan, last I heard, was by Week 1.
Thank you for all the questions. Let's do it again next week.
If there's a question I missed, send it along to zberman@phillynews.com or on Twitter @ZBerm. I'll see it in tomorrow's newsletter.
