Thank you for joining the weekly chat. It's the final week of the offseason program. Let's get to your questions...
I do see a scenario when all three of them make the roster. It would squeeze Smallwood, Jones, and Adams out of the picture, but Pumphrey could be the fourth running back. A fourth-round pick doesn't have the longest leash, but he doesn't have a short one.
He was injured for 10 games last year, and that affected his acclimation process. I still think he's a high-level talent. The trade speculation was because he's entering the last year of his deal and Eagles have depth. I'd still want to keep him, though.
I think they're a double-digit win team. A lot of talent, good QB play. You never know how the schedule shakes out, but I think they win 11-13 games, and are a Super Bowl contender.
I think one of Isaac Seumalo and Chance Warmack. (Maybe both, but they could be trade candidates) And then I think two young, developmental players -- whether it's Pryor, Mailata, or a UDFA.
I don't think there's an extension before the season. If he signs a new deal, my guess is it comes after the season. I think it would need to be at the Eagles' price -- can't see them overpaying for a DE north of 30.
He's in the mix. I'd still lean toward Corey Nelson, but they're taking a long look at Gerry. I liked how he played against Dallas last year, too.
Dallas Goedert? Very much. I like what I see as a pass catcher. When the pads come on, we'll know more.
If he's medically cleared, he'll play. If he's not ready, they won't let him in. I think it's binary.
I don't have a clear answer for that. I imagine I'll see them experiment with it more during training camp. They like to use an extra offensive lineman. That's not in a fullback role, but they could go with that look more.
It's certainly competitive, but my guess is it's incomplete because I still see them adding someone to that mix. Otherwise, Tre Sullivan is the frontrunner.
He has a shot, but he's going to have to earn it. He needs to outplay Pumphrey, Adams, and Jones. If it's equal, I think they'd lean Pumphrey.
Interesting question. My guess is the ship has sailed on Celek. But I suppose never say never.
I honestly don't have an answer for you. You stumped me.
Some intriguing DBs there. My guess is the Eagles hold onto their 2019 draft picks, although they do have a surplus.
I think he makes the team. I see him as the WR5. I think the Eagles could keep six with Markus Wheaton.
Maybe Josh Sweat? Although I still think they can find a spot for him.
I'd go with Ronald Darby.
I'd go with Brandon Brooks. Maybe Jordan Mailata now.
Among the fan base? After Kelce's speech, he needs to be up there, right?
Thank you for all the questions. Not sure yet if we'll do it next week, but we'll definitely be back before training camp.
