Zach. Smallwood and Adams have been way better than I expected, but it seems pretty obvious that the Eagles don't have a healthy RB on the roster who can consistently pick up a blitz in pass protection. Especially if we're getting ready to see more of the Big V/Seumalo tackle tandem, this seems like a a really big deal. Other than praying for Sproles' speedy return, what's the answer there?

Fair question. I think with Ngata back and the way they play their ends inside, they'd rather cut a fringe player like Hector than dip into the WR pool yet. Maybe Jernigan will be back soon, too. Either way, if Wallace/Hollins return, the Eagles will have a big decision to make at WR.

i know you don't like to speculate, but what is the deal with Rasul Douglas's lack of playing time. It's not like he looks terrible when he does get on the field. Is it a personality thing? Slacking in practice? I still cannot make sense of them preferring a fresh off the couch Dexter Mcdougle in the slot to Rasul outside, Jalen inside.

Sorry, I sent two at once. To Herbicide's question -- I see your point, and the price is the issue with the trade, but my guess is the Eagles think they get a 2020 comp. pick back. But more than that, they want to go for it this year. Isn't that what fans like to say? I agree they're not at the Saints or Rams level. But they have a franchise QB and they can get hot.

Zach....even with the addition of G.Tate, the O-Line is a disaster waiting to happen. JP can't stay healthy; Kelce has looked off all season; Lane out. They're one injury away from having the Rugby player in well before he's ready. I think O-Line is the elephant in the room for the remaining games. Surprised they didn't address.
