Thank you for joining the weekly chat. Quick week here at the Eagles' facility. Let's get right to your questions...
I see your point about safety. I would have said Earl Thomas before his injury. Karl Joseph, if he's healthy. But I'm not sure what else is out there.
Not sure I'm following the question, but I'll say Bell would be a dream scenario. Price and compensation are issues. If Eagles can bite that bullet, then it's worth doing. But I think there are other RBs out there.
To me, red zone is the key. Need to score when they're down there. Situational football is key, and they're worse in those areas than last year.
Been impressed overall, but can play better. He'd tell you that, too. They're 1-2 in those games with a chance to win in the fourth quarter of both losses.
Good range, smart player. Size isn't ideal. But considering what they have, I understand.
David Johnson won't be traded. He just signed a contract extension. McCoy, I could see it, but he's expensive and you need to make sure he's still the quality player for that price tag.
I don't think he was an upgrade, if that's what they were looking for with that switch.
I don't, but I'll try to find out.
I don't think that's what it is. Might be perception because Wentz can extend plays, but think that's more of an excuse.
Third down, red zone, offensive play calling. Eagles need more points. Bottom line. (Also, I'd like if he would grant me exclusive interviews every week.)
I don't have the reason. My guess is teams want to give their draft picks a chance, but I don't know.
I wouldn't worry about Wentz. Yes, he's coming back. Defenses have prepared for him. But he's a good player. With that said, he had chances to win the Titans game and put the Eagles ahead last week.
Maybe so, I don't think that's a big reason, though. If you watch film, you know what the Eagles are doing. Helps with personnel, though.
Looks like it. He's practicing today.
Might be tough to reach 11, but I think they're between 9 and 11.
I don't think it's as drastic as you state. Eagles were a very good defense last year. Those are better players than you're giving them credit for. But this year, they've been susceptible to the deep ball.
The right side of their offensive line.
Well Johnson is under contract for a longer period, so he'd be more appealing, but he won't be traded.
