Let's chat baseball. Fire away.
A little early to say but it's obviously not good. He will be back in Philly tomorrow for an appointment with the team doctor. He wasn't a lock to make the bullpen but this makes it likely he starts the season on the DL.
Good question. I would say probably Revere, either Herrera or Galvis, Utley, Howard and Ruiz.
He threw three scoreless in his first outing over there.
Yeah, they are definitely preaching more small ball this season. They know they aren't going to hit a lot of home runs and will need to try to score runs in other ways.
He's still probably at least a few days away from playing. Jeff Francoeur is starting in right field today.
It's just so they get the experience. Not reading too much into it. Will be interesting to watch Nola against the Yankees on Friday, though.
Hard to say. Maybe. He said he feels stronger.
Victor Arano has garnered some recent buzz. Pitcher they got in last year's Roberto Hernandez trade.
He really hasn't done a whole lot. He has only six hits in 36 at-bats.
Lee - no, not after the injury.
Hamels - of course there's a good chance in July. Utley has full no-trade rights so probably not. Howard - likely only if he plays well and the Phillies eat a lot of his salary. Ruiz - there's definitely a chance.
I think so. I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility either. Today will be his third straight day as the starting centerfielder with Ben Revere in left. Like Ruf, Sizemore has also struggled this spring. He has just three hits in 26 at-bats.
All right, guys. That's it for today. Time to get ready for today's game. Thanks for all the questions.
