Thanks for joining this week's chat. Let's talk about the Sixers.
Great question. I see him as a defensive-minded energy guy coming off the bench, maybe getting around 12 minutes
A lot of things will depend on the draft, and how many picks the Sixers get. They want to focus on the draft first, see who they select and then make decisions based on that.
I think they do like him, yes. However, I also think that a lot will depend on where they select in the draft. So we will have a better idea Tuesday night.
Like I just said, I think it all depends on where they select in the draft.
I personally don't think they are going to trade him. But the once thing we learned about Sam Hinkie is to always expect the unexpected.
Very unlikely. I don't see them going after free agents. I also don't see any free agents wanting to play for them right now.
Yes, I do. In regards to Wiggins, yes they loved him. The problem was once Embiid got hurt, the Cavs didn't want to make the trade with the Sixers and took Wiggins.
I hear there's a slim chance. SLIM. But he will most likely remain in Turkey for another season.
The Sixers have been trying to find out what type of people these prospects all. Now, they have been the team asking the crazy questions if that's what you mean. However, they are just trying to see if these young men are a fit for their franchise.
A lot depends on where they draft. I don't see them giving up future draft picks to snag him. Think about this. The Sixers will struggle again next season and could have three to four first-rounder in the 2016 draft. So no, I don't think it is a draft him at all cost thing.
History has shown the Hinkie doesn't keep all of his second-round picks. But I do expect a couple of them to get stashed overseas. And yes, they are possible assets to move into the late first round.
I think they are very valuable to him. I know what you are saying about OKC and Miami. But you have to think Hinkie would rather try to get a possible mid to late first-round steal than not have that option at all. Plus, he could also use the picks as assets.
Nope. I think they will wait until next summer
Great question. Moving forward, it could be Tony Wroten if his knee is fine.
I don't know if he would select Hezonja at the third pick. I think that's a reach at three, sorry
It could. But I also see a team trying to ask for one of their protected picks.
Dude, it's a who's who over here. it appears the entire front office is here, scouts, trainers, assistant coach Sean Rooks, etc. They have a bunch of people here. A bunch!
He looks good, physically now. I would have to see him in the summer league before I can answer that.
I would go with Russell. I think they would go with Russell, too. But Okafor is also enticing
You just don't have to give them guaranteed money.
No, I haven't spoken to Embiid this offseason. However, he is working with Sean Rooks here in Chicago.
